abdulwahidmotors.com is run by Abdul Wahid Motors, the exclusive BYD dealer in Syria, with two branches in Damascus: the Ma’raba highway and Kafr Sousa. We are responsible for the data described on this page.

Account details: name, phone number and email. Your password is stored encrypted and nobody on our team can read it.

Orders and bookings: the cars and parts you ask for, your pickup or delivery address, your car details and service appointments.

Payment details you give us: a transaction number or a receipt picture you upload. We do not store bank card numbers.

Messages you send through the contact form.

A little technical data: browser type and network address (IP) for security and to prevent abuse.

If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name and email from Google.

To carry out your orders and bookings, confirm payments and contact you about them.

To keep your car’s service history, issue your invoices and battery inspection certificates.

To protect the site and your account from fraud and abuse.

To improve the website and our services.

We do not sell or rent your data.

We share it only with providers that help us run the site, such as our hosting company Hostinger and Google services (sign-in and maps), and only as far as needed. We may disclose it if a competent legal authority requires it.

We use cookies the site needs to work: keeping you signed in, keeping your cart, and remembering your language and dark-mode choice.

We do not use advertising cookies to track you. Google Maps may set its own cookies when branch maps are shown.

We keep your data while your account exists or while there are business or legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

We protect it with encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted passwords, mandatory two-step sign-in for our staff, and regular backups.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or close your account, at any time by writing to us. If we delete your account we may keep what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices and records.
